Doctors

Dr. Ronald Grothaus grew up in Toledo, attending Rogers High School. He attended Heidleberg College, received a Masters from the University of Toledo, and his veterinary degree from the Ohio State University. He holds a special interest in orthopedic surgery. Hobbies include woodworking, and raising Thoroughbred horses. He currently lives with his wife Kay, and dogs, Chance, Molly and Morgan, Lucy, and many cats and 28 Thoroughbred horses.

Dr. Suzanne Savage grew up in Port Clinton, Ohio, attending Port Clinton High School. She received both her bachelor of Science degree in zoology and her veterinary medicine degree from The Ohio State University, graduating in 1988. She holds a special interest in dentistry. Hobbies include sailing, reading, remodelling, and following Buckeye football. She currently lives with her husband Dan, and cats Lilly and Atticus.

Dr. Roger Grothaus grew up in Toledo, attending St. John's High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in zoology from Miami University in 1993 and his veterinary degree from Ross University in 1998. He holds a special interest in internal medicine, geriatric diseases and orthopaedics. Hobbies include soccer, exercise and Texas Hold Em. He currently lives with his wife Bricia, 2 sons Nicholas and Matthew and cat Roro.

Dr. Catherine Moreau is a Florida native, born and raised on the Gulfcoast. She received a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University in 1995, and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She has served as President and Vice President of the Toledo Veterinary Medical Association and now serves on their executive board. She lives in Blissfield, MI with her husband Jason, her cats, dogs, and Standard-bred Horses. Her hobbies include gardening, yoga, skiing and whitewater rafting.

Dr. Dawn Hanusz grew up in Toledo, attending Central Catholic High School. graduating with a Pre-Veterinary degree from the University of Findlay in 1992, she then attended The Ohio State university and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Special interests include soft tissue surgery and behavior medicine. Hobbies include karate, scrapbooking and snowmobiling. She currently resides in Temperance, MI with husband, Ethan; children-Derrik, Courtney and Kira; dogs - Gabriel and Daisy; and cats - Kayla, Vader, Missy, Mischief, and Cojack.
